What it was: :60 spot for "Freeze Caps",  a product from Plastic Oddities Corp. of Shelby, NC.

Aardvark: On-line editing &  sound mixing

System: TurboCube non-linear

Producer: Ellis Noell, of Odyssey Film and Video

Visual Effects: Aurora Borealis from Billy DeMarco of Haven Multimedia.

Notes: According to Ellis, the spoken language is genuine Inuit Eskimo. Not sure how to verify that one.  By the way, that’s Ellis in the fur, playing the part of the Eskimo.

Mountain Air
 
What it was: :30 spot for "Mountain Air",  a semi-private resort in the NC mountains.

Notes: Originally shot on High Def and then transferred to Digital Betacam, this was some of the cleanest video we've ever seen come into our facility. Of course, we kept it uncompressed.

Traffic Safety
 
What it was: :30 PSA for the City of Charlotte’s traffic safety campaign.

Notes: Acting is a bit over-the-top, but apparently “billy” was a very popular kid. That’s Janice Bowers of Tall Tale’s staff acting as the “bearer of bad news”. Originally shot on film.
